Outdoor Info & Rules

  • Security cameras are located at each entrance. Please do not tamper with cameras. There is also a caretaker who resides on site in the RV at the south end of the property by the entrance.
  • Only park on the driveway or on the grass south of the house.
  • For your safety, absolutely no driving or parking — vehicles, all-terrain vehicles or bicycles — on the north, east or west side of the log cabin.
  • Live Well Lodge property boundaries are marked with fences to the east, west and south. Please be respectful of property boundaries and don’t venture onto adjoining properties.
  • No burning on property except with the gas fire pit that is provided.
  • Grill utensils are found in the bottom drawer on the kitchen island. Please clean the barbecue grill and/or smoker after use.
  • If bringing or renting a boat, it will need to be put in water at Eagle Rock or Holiday Island marinas. You can use the boat slip at the lodge if you notify the owner in advance. If looking at a map of Table Rock Lake and coming from the marinas, the lodge boat slip can be found in John’s Branch Cove.
  • The hiking trail to the dock is located east of the house, by the park bench. There is a cleared path to the dock, but it is on an incline. If someone isn’t very agile they would probably need assistance.
  • Life jackets, fishing poles and outdoor games are located in the storage shed at the basement patio. We have about 15 life jackets — sized for adults and kids over 50 pounds — available. (Guests must supply their own USCG-approved Type I, II, or III PFD life jackets for children under 50 pounds). Canoes are located on the south side of the barn. Return any items you use before you leave.
  • All swimming and use of boats is “at your own risk.” Life jackets must be worn by all children and non-swimmers. Children must be accompanied AT ALL TIMES by an adult. No diving off of the swimming dock. Exit the water in adverse weather (thunder/lightning).
  • If planning to fish, guests are responsible for knowing the state guidelines from the Department of Wildlife and Conservation. Because this Ozark cabin rental is near the state line, if you are fishing on property or upstream, you will need a Missouri Fishing License. If you are fishing downstream, you will need an Arkansas Fishing License.
  • Beach towels can be found on the shelves in the laundry room. No wet towels or wet swimsuits on wood furniture or floors. Hang wet lake towels and wet swimsuits on deck.
  • Absolutely no cleaning of fish inside the house or on the deck or patio of Live Well Lodge. Please dispose of any remains after cleaning.
  • No hunting on property.
  • Children should be accompanied by adults on deck, at lake, on hiking trails and when grill and/or smoker are in use.
  • Close the umbrellas on the deck in stormy or windy conditions.
  • The outdoor sheds and their contents, tractor, mower and RZR are not available to guests.
